A must-see, the Fort of the town, built in the nineteenth century and which is to 210 meters above sea level. From the summit, you can admire breath-taking panoramic views that stretch from the harbour of Toulon to the Embiez archipelago, through the nearby peninsula of Saint-Mandrier, Cap Sicié, Sanary Bay and Brusc, small fishing village of the area. There are also beautiful views from the old town of Six-Fours les Plages, following the route to the fort. The climb is a bit steep but the Sanary bay then reveals the ancient village built on the hill in the Middle Ages. Near the Fort, St. Pierre's College hosted, in the fifth century, the persecuted first Christians before the Montmajour monks built a priory and chapel in the eleventh century.

Take the coastal path and enjoy the scenery and beaches. The first part of the walk, 6 km long, starts from Bonnegrâce Beach and passes by Cap Nègre before ending in the port of Brusc which has kept its authenticity. Lovers of walks and hikers continue on the trail and will walk the remaining 10 km, from the port to Fabrégas Beach near Cap Sicié.

After arriving on the Hautes-Lecques, untamed nature, composed of oaks, eucalyptus and rowan very representative of the Mediterranean landscape. This part of the walk is rightly called "marvellous cornice." If you opt for those of the cliffs, you will have to get there by sea! A good opportunity to discover the neighbouring islands such as Porquerolles, off the peninsula of Giens 2 hours away, and the islands of Hyères a bit too far. Food lovers should not miss the small market held on the port of Brusc every Thursday and Sunday in the area of Lônes.
The island of Gaou, accessible from the mainland by a bridge, is also a must-see. Each summer, the festival “Les Voix du Gaou” is held there. Gaou Beach offers a breath-taking views of the island of Embiez. The island is small; it takes less than 20 minutes to go around it.

From the small port of Brusc, you can be reached Embiez island by boat. This island bought and landscaped by Paul Ricard is a breath of fresh air for the area. After a 7-minute crossing, we arrive directly in the centre of Embiez where there are some shops and bike hire businesses. Then head to the different trails to explore the coves of the Embiez islands.
The largest beach on Embiez island: les Allemands
Les Allemands Beach is the most touristic and the easiest to access. It offers a magnificent view of the bay of Sanary and the island of Grand Rouveau. Rix Beach is hidden but more difficult to access.

By bike, it takes 1h20 to go right round. Some beautiful views not to be missed from the Marine Tower and from Saint-Pierre’s point.
